Anjali is a Brooklyn-based writer and filmmaker who was born in the U.S but grew up in Pune, India. She graduated with an MFA in Cinema Studies with a focus on Screenwriting from Brooklyn College in May 2024. Her work focuses on political and cultural issues relevant to the Indian community (diaspora and at home), queer South Asians, mythological texts, and adaptations. She writes, reviews, and thinks about films, books, and other media.
